Warm Springs and Callaway Gardens! Located just an hour south of Atlanta, the town of Warm Springs is nestled among the rolling hills and the naturally heated waters made famous by Franklin D. Roosevelt. The Little White House, is where President Roosevelt spent his happiest times, and his getaways during his four terms as president. FDR, who had contracted polio in 1921, found swimming in the area’s mineral waters therapeutic for his paralyzed legs. After a wonderful tour, we will head ten miles east over to Callaway Gardens, a 2,500 acres of nature and resort land. After a scrumptious lunch, and a glass of wine, we will have a private tour, including The Butterfly Pavilion and The Birds of Prey Show. We will return back to the hotel by 6:00 PM.
Cost is $155/person Transportation, Admission, Lunch and Beverage included
