The evening begins at 6:00pm with our elegant reception featuring an open bar, passed hors’ d'oeuvres, and the Stockton Helbing Trio performing excellent live jazz. At 7:00pm, the formal black tie dinner will begin. An elegant evening of food, wine and fun await. Throughout the night, you are sure to discover what we mean by “Big D” style.

Founded in 1903, the Dallas Museum of Art is a space of wonder and discovery where art comes alive. The DMA is one of the largest art museums in America, located in the nation's largest arts district in downtown Dallas. The buses will depart promptly at 10:30 am and you are free to spend time visiting some of the world’s most famous art pieces and exhibits, dine in the DMA Cafe and more.

Paul J Williams, Actor/Comic/Singer
Paul J. Williams is a gifted comedian, actor and singer based in Dallas. As a comedian, he has appeared on countless cruises, multiple comedy clubs across the U.S. and on the MTV/LOGO Network comedy special, ONE NIGHT STAND UP. But, he is most well-known for his “altar ego”, Sister Helen Holy. As a classically trained tenor, Paul J. has performed with the New York Choral Artists, Orpheus Chamber Singers and Turtle Creek Chorale. As a hobby, Paul is a classic car buff and currently owns a 1970 Buick Riviera which has won multiple awards.
Kick off your Friday the 13th with a Dallas Classic: The State Fair of Texas. Surely, the most beautiful Fair complex in the United States, Fair Park was transformed in 1936 for the Texas Centennial. Numerous buildings sport Art Deco architectural styles, which is why the entire complex is listed as a National Historic Landmark. Board the motor coach promptly at 10:00 am and you will be whisked away to Fair Park. Big Tex is a 55 foot tall Cowboy who cannot wait to welcome everyone with a hearty “Howdy Folks.” Enjoy an assortment of rides, booths, displays, automobiles, fair games, and the ALL important Fair Food. Join us for ‘Welcome’ cocktails, featuring an open bar, delightful hors d'oeuvres, and delicious desserts at the spectacular home of Dallas Chapter member Dr. Geoffrey Walker. Geoffrey’s home is located in Highland Park, a lovely enclave developed by Wilbur David Cook, the landscape designer who planned Beverly Hills, California. This exclusive area within Dallas was designed to maximize both parks and lakeside settings. A motor coach departs from the hotel promptly at 4:30 pm and will take you there from our Host Hotel, where a fantastic spread and a beautiful evening awaits!
Headed by BTCI-San Francisco’s own Tom Beddingfield, who has led JFK tours for many years, spend the day with experts on the Kennedy Assassination. Buell Frazier, author of Steering Truth, drove Lee Harvey Oswald to work on the morning of the assassination. He will be with us all day to recount his stories of Oswald and his account of the assassination which he witnessed. Whether you believe in the accounts of the Warren Commission report on the assassination or you believe in a conspiracy, this tour will give you a clear understanding of what happened the day President Kennedy was assassinated.
With the bus leaving promptly at 9:00 am, we will visit a number of sites in the Dallas area that are connected to the JFK assassination.
This is the hotel that President Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy spent the night before the assassination. It is the location where President Kennedy gave his last two speeches. The hotel has a collection of photographs surrounding his visit and a beautiful memorial marking the spot where he addressed the public for the very last time.
A visit to the grave of Lee Harvey Oswald
This is the former home of Ruth Paine. She was the most questioned witness before the Warren Commission. Marina Oswald lived with her at the time of the assassination. Lee Harvey Oswald slept here unexpectedly the night before the shooting. This is the home where his gun was stored.
Enjoy a sit-down luncheon of Italian cuisine. This is a very famous restaurant in Dallas with lots of history. It was mob connected and Jack Ruby frequented this restaurant. He dined here the night before the assassination.
Walking tour of the site of the assassination and a visit to the Sixth Floor Museum at the Texas Book Depository
This is where Lee Harvey Oswald lived at the time of the assassination. The home is exactly as it was in 1963.

Founded in 1887 originally as the Gentlemen's Driving Club, the name reflected the interest of the members to "drive" their horse & carriages on the club grounds. The club later briefly used the adjacent grounds as a golf course until it sold the land to the city in 1904 to create Piedmont Park. The golf course was relocated, and the Park is on The National Register of Historic Places Travel Itineraries.
