JFK Assassination Tour
Headed by BTCI-San Francisco’s own Tom Beddingfield, who has led JFK tours for many years, spend the day with experts on the Kennedy Assassination. Buell Frazier, author of Steering Truth, drove Lee Harvey Oswald to work on the morning of the assassination. He will be with us all day to recount his stories of Oswald and his account of the assassination which he witnessed. Whether you believe in the accounts of the Warren Commission report on the assassination or you believe in a conspiracy, this tour will give you a clear understanding of what happened the day President Kennedy was assassinated.
With the bus leaving promptly at 9:00 am, we will visit a number of sites in the Dallas area that are connected to the JFK assassination.
Stops will include:
Fort Worth Hilton (formerly The Hotel Texas)
This is the hotel that President Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy spent the night before the assassination. It is the location where President Kennedy gave his last two speeches. The hotel has a collection of photographs surrounding his visit and a beautiful memorial marking the spot where he addressed the public for the very last time.
Shannon Rose Hills Cemetery
A visit to the grave of Lee Harvey Oswald
Ruth Paine House Museum
This is the former home of Ruth Paine. She was the most questioned witness before the Warren Commission. Marina Oswald lived with her at the time of the assassination. Lee Harvey Oswald slept here unexpectedly the night before the shooting. This is the home where his gun was stored.
Lunch at Campisi's
Enjoy a sit-down luncheon of Italian cuisine. This is a very famous restaurant in Dallas with lots of history. It was mob connected and Jack Ruby frequented this restaurant. He dined here the night before the assassination.
Dealey Plaza Tour and Sixth Floor Museum
Walking tour of the site of the assassination and a visit to the Sixth Floor Museum at the Texas Book Depository
Oswald Rooming House
This is where Lee Harvey Oswald lived at the time of the assassination. The home is exactly as it was in 1963.
Neely Street Apartment
Where Lee and Marina lived in March of 1963 and the location of where the famous backyard photo of Lee Harvey Oswald was taken.
Officer Tippit Shooting
We will visit the site where Officer J.D. Tippit was shot and killed.
Texas Theater
The location Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested. This theater has been restored to how it looked in 1963
Spend the day touring these historical sites. Luxury Motor Coach transportation will be included from the host hotel. Lunch at Campisi's is included as well as museum entrance fees. Limited to 50 people.
